board meeting 5/16/2015

 

  1. Security refund – 5/30 and 6/6 – communication will go out first; refund sign; volunteer list from PA
  2. Volunteers – allocation  – assigned volunteer based on event/confirmed call and sign up sheet/ identification card – Principal – raise security deposit to $40 (from $30)
  3. Graduation slides and graduation show – has to communicate along with graduation communication – 6 weeks prior to graduate; graduation teacher will coordinate with Principal
  4. Summer camp 2015 – 3 reasons to attend, timing, feedback – Derek/Michelle to update summer camp description
  5. Registration fee increase – from $300 to $330 – $10 late fee past postmarked 6/30/2015 registered/paid with check to treasurer (new family excluded)
  6. Gifts – tote! 
  7. Open house – flyer distribution (flyer content confirmed – design TBD)
  8. registration begins on 5/30  – Derek/Hochi
  9. Principal election and 2015-16 board recruiting status
  10. Picnic and picnic tickets sale sale begins 5/30 – PA will print; two ticket to teacher one for SI; none for TA
  11. Year-end performance – Kuan;
  12. Graduation slides – template will be sent to Frank and Kuan from Derek

  18. Alice Ng – mother’s day – SOP for event to get a classroom – confirmed. Program coordinator has to confirm with Principal, LD/CD about the location/time.
