FCS weekly communication 12/7 -12/10/2016

FCS Announcements:

1. We are proud to announce Fidelity Chinese School Chorus has been selected to sing national anthem for Brooklyn Nets game on Sunday January 15th for Taiwan Night. We will try to get group discount tickets for this game. If you’re interested, please send an email to alantai@gmail.com. The ticket prices are expected to be $75 for 2nd level 1st row, $45 2nd level 3-8 rows and $35 for upper level seats. We need to get a headcount before requesting Nets for discount tickets. The first batch of discount tickets have been sold out already to the Taiwanese community.
2. Chinese New Year off campus performance has been scheduled for Friday 1/20/2017 from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Both dance classes and YoYo TAs are expected to showcase their talents to our local schools. This year we will visit, Frank J Dugan, Asher Holmes, and Hope Christian school. We need MCs for this event. If your child is interested, please let us know.
3. Chinese New Year Celebration is scheduled to be on 1/28/2017. We need a lot of volunteers to prepare for FCS’s biggest celebration.
4. FCS will visit Victoria Nursing Home this weekend on 12/10 @2pm. Everyone is welcome. We still need a student volunteer for MC position and a video recording person.
5. Speech contest for grade 1-8 is this weekend on 12/10 @9:30am, please make sure the students are prepared. Grade 1-8 students, please go directly to auditorium @9:30am.

Chinese New Year event update:
1) Volunteers needed for new year performance and lunch setup
2) Purchase New Year party tickets this weekend to guarantee your spot. The ticket prices are $7 for child and $14 for adult.
3) Donations needed for New Year raffles and games
Please stop by PA desk for tickets, volunteer or donations!
